Narcissists Projection

When a narcissist projects onto their victim, they may falsely accuse them of possessing the very qualities, flaws, or behaviours the narcissist displays themselves. For example, a narcissist who  lies may accuse their partner of being dishonest. By doing so, they create confusion and doubt within the victim, making them question their own reality and fostering a sense of guilt or responsibility.

The Effectiveness of Talk Therapy

Why talk therapy is not for everyone. Complex trauma results in a range of symptoms that extend beyond cognitive understanding and verbal expression.

You could never express yourself. Why would you know how to now?

This expectation from others means they had the privilege of growing up being able to communicate. To express themselves. Someone listened to them. Their opinions and their feelings mattered.

Autoimmune disorders arise when the immune system goes awry, mistakenly attacking the body’s own tissues. In this context, hyperfunctioning takes on a new meaning—it amplifies the immune response, perpetuating a state of chronic inflammation that wreaks havoc on various organ systems.
The consequences of such an intensified immune response are profound. Tissues under constant assault endure heightened stress, leading to accelerated wear and tear that can result in irreversible damage. For instance, the joints suffer in rheumatoid arthritis, nerves are compromised in multiple sclerosis, and systemic lupus erythematosus causes tissue scarring.
